Returns and Refunds


Used Engines Inc. strives to make every purchase wrinkle free that’s why we secured our merchandise with warranty policy that enables customer to avail Returns/ Refunds in case they receive any defective/wrong merchandise. We at Used Engines Inc. have deliberately made our warranty process smooth and seamless by handling queries/complaints promptly.

How to Claim Warranty?

If you wish to initiate a warranty claim, please have the following information handy:

  1. Proof of the Issue (images/videos)
  2. Warranty documents signed at the time of placing the order
  3. A diagnostic report by an ASE certified mechanic (if the proof of the issue is unavailable).
  4. Before you initiate a warranty claim, please make sure that all the preinstallation checks (as discussed under warranty page) were followed at the time of installation because that can eliminate most of the common issues.

How to Initiate RETURN?


We take all measures to send a good working unit at the first place. If you still wish to return your used engine/ used transmission because of any issue with it. Here is our return guidelines:

  1. Contact us on our dedicated support toll-free number 1800-211-6691 or you can also email us at support@usedengines.us Mon-Fri, 9:00AM-6:00PM, CST.
  2. You have 90 days Return & Refund policy from the date of delivery to return the merchandise.
  3. Our support team will initiate pick up procedure on approval from the warranty team. We will provide a BOL(Bill of lading), that needs to be printed out and show it to the driver at the time of pick up.
  4. Returned used engine/transmission must be in same condition or with same packaging as it was shipped originally. It would limit our ability to initiate Return if the merchandise received is modified/damaged or partially/fully installed.
  5. Refund will be initiated after we receive and inspect the returned item. Original transportation will be paid by us if the return is approved by us and vice versa.
  6. We have room for exceptions for a used engine if it is received damaged or accepted incorrectly by us.
  7. Once we receive the merchandise, we will initiate the replacement/Refund as per the requirement.
  8. In case of refund, It will take 3-5 business days (excluding holidays, weekends) to process the refund to your source account.
  9. In case of replacement, we will take 3-5 business days to deliver the replacement merchandise as per our standard process of fulfilling an order
  10. (defective merchandise must be picked prior to the replacement shipment/ refund initiation).

What to do in case of Failed Delivery?


Though the occurrence of such circumstance is negligible as we maintain a close eye on our shipments, and we have the best delivery partners in the USA, yet we couldn’t control some unavoidable situations. In such cases, when merchandise is not delivered it will automatically be returned to Used Engines Inc. Once received, we can resend it through a different carrier or you can request an order cancellation with full refund.
